Online Car Parking System

ONLINE PARKING PERMIT SYSTEM

The new digital parking system eliminates the need for paper permits. Going paperless means all parking permits will be registered online through a portal and onsite parking will be monitored electronically using licence plate recognition.

If you are a berth holder you will have received an email at the beginning of August, prompting you to set up your online permit account. If you did not receive this email please contact us. 

Please be aware that the permits do not entitle you to use any parking at Westhaven for non-Marina related activities, including parking while working in or visiting areas outside the Westhaven boat harbour area, or for storage of a vehicle unrelated to Marina activities.

SPACES AND RULES:

There are coloured parking zones around the Marina.  WHITE is for Marina guests, crew members and visitors.  YELLOW is for berth holders and contractors while on business in the Marina.

Parking around Westhaven is FREE, except for Z pier charter base parking which is pay and display.

WHITE SPACES:

WHITE SPACES: Are monitored and enforced from Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm and the time restrictions apply during these hours.  Evenings, weekends and public holidays are not monitored, so if you are a guest on a boat for a weekend you can safely park in the white spaces without worrying about an infringement notice.

NOTE: If you are parking in the white zone after 4pm in the evenings, during the weekend or public holidays you do NOT need to register to park there.

BERTHHOLDERS: Can register guests for the white spaces parking to avoid the time restrictions if they are wanting to park during the enforced times.  Simply log onto the digital system here https://permits.westhaven.co.nz/ and enter your guests car registration under the ‘guest permit’ icon.

YELLOW SPACES:

The yellow spaces are for Westhaven berth holders and registered contractors with sign written vehicles only, and may only park in the yellow zones when on Marina business. 

Yellow spaces are monitored 24/7, and any car parked in a yellow space  without a valid permit will be infringed.
